Had the chicken Vol au vent. Pleasant, with lovely flaky pastry. The highlight for me was the tiny cherry pie with a star pastry on top. Short pastry rolled very thin, so the cherries were the highlight rather than a large chunk of pastry. Really lovely. Will be returning! Recommend having your meal upstairs…There’s a surprisingly elegant ‘dining room’, heritage style.

Great place to catch up. Upstairs area, booths, clean toilets, terrific menu. Order downstairs and have it brought to your table. Sat for hours talking, eating and drinking. Great spot.

Quality coffee and the big brekky wrap definitely did the trick. Plenty of fillings and nice melted cheese. Staff were very nice. Great place to pop in if you're a local or passing through.

Lovely service and great venue, 2 storey bakery is nice with the seats up on the second level. Lovely to try their famous cherry pie!

Parents love this place but only a tiny bit less than their kids! Because parents like good coffee, comfortable and stylish surrounds as well as extensive sweet and savoury menus with LOADS of things the kids like. We might think through going to eat on the extremely inviting balcony, but find the newly installed upstairs play area very tempting too. Because the kids love that. And they enjoy being in a space where their play and energy is ok. It’s a relief to them, and let’s face it, to their parents who aren’t paranoid about them annoying others. Because the upstairs is huge. There are plenty of places to remove yourself from the chatter of children and enjoy your delicious food in peace and comfort. All in all, a total find!
