My family and I were visiting Young and decided to stop for a good pub meal after encountering some rude service at another local pub (where they wouldn’t serve steak at 1:20 PM!). We were about to head to the local bakery when we walked past the Criterion. We quickly checked if they could accommodate 20 hungry customers at 1:30 PM, and they couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful, setting up tables for us right away. The food was fantastic—the best pumpkin, feta, and pine nut salad I’ve ever had! The service was outstanding as well. Thank you! We will definitely return and will tell everyone to visit the Criterion if they’re ever in Young!
