What User likes about Le Gourmet:
The inviting window display at this charming French bakery/cafe caught our eye and drew us in. The cafe was filled with an assortment of pastries and cakes. We decided to try the freshly made toasted sandwiches and paninis, which did not disappoint. The mixed berry and apple crumble tart was especially delicious. View all feedback. I tried some incredible cakes at this restaurant during the summer. I have visited three times in the last two days, but each time I have not been able to find anyone to help me. Yesterday, I saw a dark-haired girl in the back talking to someone I couldn't see, completely ignoring me as I waited. I eventually left. I returned later, but still couldn't find any staff. read moreLe Gourmet, a bakery in Youghal with a variety of cakes, pastries, and sandwiches. While some have had trouble finding staff, the food quality makes up for it. Highlights include the mixed berry and apple crumble tart, fantastic meringues, and amazing pavlova. The cafe offers great value at €2.40 for coffee and a mixed salad box under €5. Some have noted the need for gluten-free options and cleaner storage areas. With the change in ownership, we wish the new owners, Jason and Robyn, the best of luck in continuing to provide fresh and delicious food.
