Dakotas - Yorkville

Absolutely DO NOT go here for breakfast.. The biscuits are rock hard and crumble apart, making them inedible. I received the wrong order of pancakes. When the right order arrived, the pancakes weren’t cooked all the way through. Decent drinks. So if you like mimosas, go to Dakotas. If you like food, go elsewhere.

Love the atmosphere, food was really good, but service was just OK.

The place is cute bud the drinks were decent but the menu is kind of odd, the service was ok and the food was mediocre at best. We had a great time because of the company we were with but we won’t be coming back to Dakota’s.

We arrived at 15 o'clock on Sunday to birthday. the service was super slow (restaurant had maybe 5 tables occupied) and eating came cold. we sent a part back and it came back this time lukewarm. it was really disappointing when we were there for the first time. another table of us had similar problems and only ended up picking up and picking up. overall missing everything and I can't see that we go back or recommend dakota.

I made reservations. No where did it say they were calling early. When we arrived no one said they were closing early. We ordered drinks one was not made right. When it was question the bar tender had an attitude. Appetizer came out. Still no one said they were closing early. We then ordered our meal. Some of the food was cold, some was not even cook the right way. The salt level on the one not cook right was over the top salty. When we asked for the dessert menu it was brought to us. I ordered dessert and was immediately told the kitchen was closed and they actually closed at 8 P.M. our reservation was for 7:30 P.M. we should of been told when she came to take our order they closed at 8. This was not the first time we had been to this establishment. We have enjoyed it in the past. So hopefully it was just an off night. We will try it again.
