Love the concept and the vision for the restaurant. My only teeny-tiny issue was the food needed a bit more seasoning to our tastes. Easily could have been remedied if there was salt and pepper at the tables. Service and experience was wonderful and this was our first visit. We will return and likely frequent often.

We have gone here the last 3 years for my birthday because this is such a great restaurant! I love the sustainability and freshness that they provide! The food was great! Fried Brussels Sprouts to start were delicious! Short Rib Pot Pie and Lingue with duck and Wagyu Ragu were superb! The best part however was the service. Our server had extensive knowledge of the menu making it easy for me with my allergies and the other guests with their special requests. He seemed to have a lot of tables but always had a moment to help us with our questions and requests! Thanks so much!

We visited Hardware for Father's Day with a party of 9 (6 adults and 3 children) at 5:00 PM. The restaurant was not very busy, with many empty tables. However, we were initially given kids menus without coloring pages or crayons. After requesting them, we found the service to be very slow. When one of our party asked for a substitution from the brisket tacos, the server was hesitant and seemed a bit snooty, stating that the chef doesn't usually make substitutions as it affects the presentation of the dish. This, along with the long wait of over 40 minutes for our meals, especially with three young children, was disappointing.

Our server was great, food was FANTASTIC, my table got the handmade ravioli and the korean fried rice. When we sat down out on the beautiful patio, it was noticeably busy, but we had a 2 seat table right on the edge of the concrete spot, by the trees, and there was a table less than a foot away from our chairs, and there were enough tables around us for anyone to not sit right next to us. About 20 minutes after we got sat, the host sat a party of 3 at the table directly next to us. The party wasn’t obnoxiously loud, but we could hear every single word they said due to the incredibly close distance. I understand that this place was busy, but having another party’s chairs less than 4 inches away from ours was unacceptable. We felt suffocated, and there was other tables they could’ve been sat at, and it just didn’t feel as comfortable and easy going as it should’ve been. Other people were definitely sat very close to others, and it did not seem like a great seating situation. It’s a very popular restaurant but having tables and chairs so close to each other makes me not want to go there again, amazing food though, and decent service, the thing i’d really recommend is that they take a few tables out so nobody is on top of each other!

This is my second time there. The service was excellent the first time. This time not as good. I believe they didn’t have enough servers. Our waitress had two parties over 8 people each so our party of 4 was left out. I wanted another drink and we were ready for dessert. It was 45 mins before we saw her after our dinner was served, (by another person). I believe there could have been another “helper” (who served our food perhaps) who could have been utilized to check our table if we needed more drinks.
