I was looking for a couple of party platters for lunch while we were out on the boat with a group of seven. Su was incredibly helpful and was able to modify some of the selections to accommodate our vegetarian needs. The service was extremely efficient, and it was clear that they take pride in their work. The proof was in the tasting—it was all delicious! Su also has some excellent vegetarian options that I’m eager t... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sushi J:

Is this the best sushi in Australia? sure it has all the qualities of a great. the size is larger than any other sushi, they make it always fresh for them, the taste is absolutely amazing and the dame that owns the shop is very accomodating to their needs. I don't care if she doesn't smile because that sushi is so damn good.
I have travelled the entire east coast from cairns to Melbourne, multiple times, had sushi in almost every town/city and have never come across a sushi better than sushi J. It’s freshly made, large and has a good variety of vegetarian options. Best sushi ever!
The latest staff member is kind and friendly the owner appallingly rude every time I've been their and been served by her she has either hung up on me and gotten frustrated and rude waiting for my order I like to support small business but her attitude never seems to improve time to take my money elsewhere
Was really surprised that the service here was really unpleasant. To be honest I think the lady must have either been having a bad day?? Sushi was fine but not worth the ambience.
Sushi is always fresh made while you wait sitting outside the front of the shop.
