Mostly for nostalgi... read more Wow, it 's been a hot minute since I last had Kentucky Fried Chicken! It seems I 've adapted KFC to stand for Korean Fried Chicken nowadays. Mostly for nostalgia, I was craving Colonel Sanders ' finger lickin ' goodness a couple weeks back and finally brought myself to order a big ol ' bucket to satisfy the craving. Using the app, I ordered an online exclusive of 20 pieces large fries large gravy for $40. The deal was solid but the food was not. Seriously, what happened to their chicken?! I already set the bar so low because the only thing they ever had going for them was how deliciously salty and well-seasoned (but equally atrocious and unhealthy) their batter was. This time, the batter was bland and uninspiring. Coupled with the soggy skin (per usual, it ain 't no Popeyes), the chicken was rather disappointing! I can say with certainty that my 10 year craving is now gone and it probably won 't come back for another 20 years.. if not ever! Side note: the customer service at this location was great though. The two ladies working there that night were friendly, attentive, and efficient! Cheers to them!
