What WondeRox doesn't like about Peters Fine Dining:
Terrible experience! I walked in to see if there’s any availability for us to dine in the restaurant with a service dog. The older man who had long dark hair approached me with a very rude mannerism and asked if I was blind? I asked what he meant and he kept on repeating himself if I was blind and what type of disabilities I had. I told him that he was discriminating and rude. He then decided to welcome us which we d... My husband and I went for our anniversary and were not disappointed. Our steak was cooked exactly as ordered and was tender and delicious. The staff are gracious and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is one of "take your time and enjoy your meal" and the overall experience is one that we will want to repeat in the future
If you're looking for something a little more special than the Keg but not at the price tag of Habour 60 or Jacobs, Peter's is a good option. The restaurant is small and has an old school feel similar to that of David Duncan House. The steaks are reasonably priced at around $40-$60 depending on what you order. Entrees come with one side and with the option to add additional sides like mushrooms or onion rings (my fav). Their Caesar salad is delish and made fresh right in front of you (my kids always enjoy watching and helping).
I returned to this place after many years and was welcomed by Tom, nothing has changed. Charming atmosphere, great service, and superb cuisine. We enjoyed the table side caesar salad, fresh bluepoint oysters, the steak Diane, and the crepe suzette. Our two waiters, Frank and Toula were perfect. Overall a great evening! We shall return.
My wife and I were celebrating our 31st Anniversary and hadn't been to Peter's since the mid 90s. We were delighted to find the fare and service were as we remembered. It was like a walk back in time. Spoiled by Stephen, Toula and Tom, we had a night to remember. Make sure to try the hand made Ceaser at your table by the Maestro, and the Chateaubriand warmed and served while you watch. Every bite was savoury and delightful. We will be back real soon with the whole family...
Had a great first visit at Peter's last week. From the table side Caesar salad, to the steak Diane, to the crepe suzette, everything was perfect! We will for sure return soon. I also recommend asking for Frank and Toula. They were awesome!
