Jacko's - York

This is now my favorite place for filet mignon! The portions were extremely generous, allowing for a delicious leftover meal. Even my kids tried new dishes and enjoyed their meals!

The food, atmosphere, and service were exceptional, as always. If you haven't been to this place yet, you definitely have to try it!

I recently ordered the fried chicken, which was delicious and very generous portioned! It was enough for 2 meals. The Spencer steak, which is 16oz or more, is also delicious, and the baked potatoes are the best! The atmosphere at "Jockos" is perfect - if it were any more upscale, it wouldn't be Jockos! It's always a wonderful treat to dine there.

This place has not changed in 50 years except for the prices, which was necessary to survive. Quality and quantity have remained the same. Best steak house not only on the central coast but in the Western states. Chain steak houses do not come close to delivering what Jocko’s does.

We had a great server, Hans. But our food took forever to come out then when it did, it was lukewarm. One of our steaks was undercooked, and the Spencer was so fatty. Sadly, it was just not a great experience at all.
