What Mimi Chantelle doesn't like about Domino's Pizza:
PRICES HAVE SOARED! I recently went in for a large three-topping pizza that used to cost $8.43 with tax last year. Now it's over $14, plus tax! That's a $6 increase—an astonishing 75%! Companies like Domino's are taking the COVID excuse too far. I decided to pass and walked out. I won't support a business that is price-gouging its customers. View all feedback.
Then, on Monday evening, I placed another order and was informed there would be an hour wait. When I called to check on my food, the person who answered claimed to be the charging manager. He told me that my order was sent back to Domino’s because no one had answered my phone or followed the special instructions to call the North Tower upon arrival. I asked to speak with the manager, and he said it was him. He finally revealed that someone named Jewel Parks was the loading manager.
The restaurant gets quite busy, which means there might be a wait for parties when they place their orders. To ensure timely service, it's best to order early using the app. Another issue is the door, which is not very convenient for customers or for those picking up pizza orders. It would be much better if the door could open and close automatically.
Edit (October 22, 2022): I really miss you all making my favorite pizza at a price I can afford, and I miss your friendly personalities. Some of my favorite staff members have eight kids, so please consider tipping them – they truly deserve it! You all are amazing!
The manager at this restaurant is quite unhelpful. They don’t keep their app updated with what’s currently available, leading to significant issues. Instead of addressing the situation and making the necessary adjustments, they prefer to cancel entire orders rather than explaining the problem to their superiors. This approach doesn’t seem very effective, as they now have a lot of unsold inventory just sitting there. It doesn’t matter what kind of system they have in place; it’s not beneficial for anyone if they choose to cancel entire orders instead of resolving errors caused by their outdated app specific to this location. The store owner should take a close look at the recent reviews and consider making some changes.
