read moreNestled in a quaint village, The Lord Nelson offers a charming atmosphere but delivers a mixed dining experience. While the pool of reviews highlights exceptional Sunday roasts and fantastic tapas, with dishes that showcase freshness and flavor, some patrons have left disappointed, citing poor food quality and unwelcoming service for dog owners. Guests rave about the attentive staff and delightful ambiance, making it a family-friendly destination. With a great selection of drinks and a cozy setting, The Lord Nelson remains a convenient stop for anyone visiting the area, albeit with some inconsistencies worth noting.

Great village pub that we caught around tea hour. We just hate drinks but food is also served. Large beer garden round the back. However, friendly.
Excellent, tasty, well cooked tapas. Great service. Friendly, informal atmosphere.
