What User likes about National Railway Museum:
that was my first visit to the raiway museum. we had a fabulous day and will definitely come back. my wife was often with her children before being very young and now in her 20s they still love it. it is an amazing place for young and old at any time. only regret was the flying scotsman not there. The trains are great to see, though I would have liked to have seen more of the interiors. The other exhibits were a complete jumble to be honest. No idea what we were looking at. The cafe is a disgrace, paper cups, terrible coffee and ridiculously priced. All in all, I was glad it was free, think I would have been even more disappointed had we paid. We didn't stay long.
