Great pastrami (I like mine on the fatty side). You can eat in or take out. The only thing I did not care for was the stuffed cabbage, thought it was way to sweet. View all feedback.
What John B doesn't like about Epstein's Kosher Delicatessen:
I'll give it a three stars why cuz it's easier and faster to get to than Katz deli in Manhattan. Awesome! I drive from Connecticut just for the pastrami! It melts in your mouth. Best I have ever had. Then of course grab some knishes on the way out the door. Great service, friendly staff and I can't say enough about the food!
This restaurant has an appealing menu, but the prices feel disproportionate to the quality of the food. I tried a pastrami sandwich, and it was underwhelming for the price. The house-made pickles were also a disappointment; while I appreciate the effort of making them in-house, the flavor was confusing and didn’t clearly lean towards either dill or sweet. The costs added up quickly, and I left feeling still hungry. Additionally, the service was quite slow. I’d rate it 3 out of 5. I wish them the best, as I’m sure they've been around for a long time.
This is the only place in Westchester where you can find Matzo Ball Soup, and it's genuinely the best!
Little old school dinner. Friendly staff. Food was ok. I got the pastrami sandwich
Had Matzo ball soup and combo pastrami and corned beef. Food and service were excellent and would highly recommend
