Delightful, cozy, and home-style Amish cuisine. I highly recommend paying a visit and especially suggest trying the Bison Chopped Steak and the cinnamon rolls!!!!
My husband and I took our family from Tennessee to CCR on Saturday. Everything was wonderful until we went to buy cinnamon rolls. My sister-in-law wanted cinnamon rolls from the bakery case. The older cashier argued, tried to get her to take the ones wrapped in plastic and argued with her. The exchange put a bad taste in all of our mouths. We have NEVER be treated in such a disrespectful manner. I am very disappointed
The turkey and mashed potatoes were amazing, and the sausage is some of the best around. We bought a whole Oreo pie on the way out which was really good later that night and the next day.
Great place. Super clean, seated very quickly despite being a busy lunch crowd. Service was exceptional and the food was delicious and served quickly. I just wish we had room to try and of the delicious looking desserts.
A Midwest staple serving hearty, Amish-style comfort food, this restaurant shines with homemade pies, cinnamon rolls and standout steaks, plus clean dining and speedy seating. Favorites include turkey, sausage and classic sides; desserts are a must. Service is often friendly and attentive, though some guests report brusque hosts and inconsistent staff attitudes. Prices are reasonable and a small gift shop adds charm, but occasional menu limitations and a sense of commercial decline have tempered longtime patrons' enthusiasm.

I was laughing at D?to?s review below but he wasn?t joking ? The bread that came with our meal was so good(dense and soft, but light and didn?t crumble). I got the Chicken Fried Chicken and it was good, the sweet potato wedges were ? and the warm apple cider was ?! I accidentally ordered it but it worked out. Just the glazed carrots could?ve been more glazed for my tasting lol My cousin loved his chopped steak. Our server was awesome too despite being busy.
After a hectic morning, I decided to have lunch at this restaurant with four of my colleagues, and we opted for the family-style lunch. It's hard to go wrong with Fried Chicken, Roast Beef, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, salad, and bread. For dessert, we each got a slice of pie. My friends recommended that I get a Cinnamon Roll to enjoy later in the day or for breakfast. Everything was absolutely delicious! The selection of desserts was impressive, and I made sure to save some space for it. I chose the Lemon Meringue pie since it was the only option I could handle. The others picked Apple Pecan, Coconut Cream, and Apple pies. If I find myself in the area again, this place will definitely be on my list of must-visit spots!
I had a fantastic experience! Although it's slightly away from the usual routes in Kansas, Carriage Crossing is a perfect spot to take a break. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the food was delightful. The atmosphere had a charming, cozy, and welcoming vibe. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by!
Carriage Crossing, located in the heart of the Midwest, offers authentic Amish cuisine, featuring a range of home-cooked breakfast combinations, as well as delicious lunch and dinner options. Don’t forget to save room for the incredible desserts! Whether you stop by in the morning, afternoon, or evening, you'll experience a truly homemade meal. The cinnamon rolls are undoubtedly my favorite!
Phenomenal first experience. Large restaurant, they were quite busy but service was friendly and quick. I had the ham steak, mashed taters, and carrots. Hands down the best ham steak and cooked carrots I've ever had. My wife got the 8 oz KC strip and she said it was amazing; no steak sauce needed. Anyone who doesn't give this place 5 stars is looking for something to complain about.

The service here was wonderful! The food was phenomenal! I had the Chopped Steak, a little white Gravy on it. All right! Appetizers were also really good. We also caught some cinnamon rolls and coffee cakes that were delicious by the way. I definitely recommend coming here if you ever visit the McPherson area for the salt mine.
This was my first visit, and I absolutely loved it! The portions are generous for the price, and the baked goods are simply too tempting to resist. I can't wait to enjoy the enormous cinnamon rolls later. I highly recommend this place and I look forward to returning!
As a first-time customer, I was excited to dine here, especially eager to try their cinnamon rolls that I had been wanting for ages. The staff was warm and friendly, and they were very patient with me since everything on the menu looked incredible. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, and it was absolutely fantastic! I wrapped up my meal with a delightful cinnamon roll. I can't wait to return soon!
Delicious food and prompt service! The waitress was exceptionally attentive and remembered all our order details. Even on a busy Saturday night, everything came out quickly. The food was served hot and fresh, and the entire place was spotless.
Delicious comfort food! My husband is a fan of fried chicken, and I tried the chicken fried chicken, which was fantastic too! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. It's a shame we were too stuffed for a slice of their amazing cakes. We'll definitely be back for that next time!
