What Հուրիկ Մկրտչյան doesn't like about Ankyun:
Worst place I’ve ever been, very unpleasant staff, not even close to be good in service! Early in the morning they don’t serve coffee , the excuse is “we’re not a cafe” then after finding out that I’m planning to eat they brought a coffee the look is awful seems like someone drank it already View all feedback.
Essen Presentation was excellent!! The part was good. The food was delicious staff was friendly Very good experience, felt like at home.
We were for a quick meal. I am European, but living in Armenia, and I really miss good Italian cuisine. This place met me tonight! Good quality lasagna and ravioli. I'd come back.
I will find all the dishes that I find ingenious: Beetroot salad, estragon and grape salad (uva e estragone), broccoli salad, lamb and red bean as main, pizzas are also quite good.
We were looking for comfort food, and for us Italian is comfort. Ankyun’s food is outstanding; I had the Spaghetti Pinoli (pine nuts and lemon) and my wife had the Penne Carbonara. Both were delicious, fresh and handmade. For desert we shared the hazelnut torte, also handmade. The service was excellent, and the wine list offered numerous choices, and we shared a bottle of Hin Areni dry red wine that paired perfectly with our meals. I have to give Ankyun my highest recommendation.
(2016) The best Italian cuisine thus far, not only in Armenia. (2022) Six years past, still my favorite place for fine Italian food in Yerevan.
