Good if you’re travelling with non-veggie people. Lavash is a huge restaurant located in one of the main streets in Yerevan. Has a long menu with armenian options, although vegan nor vegetarian options aren’t labeled so it’s quite confusing. Ghapama (the pumpking) is NOT VEGAN because it has honey, so I guess you can asked without it, as I see a lot of pics in happycow. Staff is very friendly, and price is ok.

There are a few options, but not a lot. Nonetheless, the walnut dip and peas (without butter) were probably my favourite part. The pumpkin was a bit tasteless. Service was 10/10. Our server was super professional and made sure to request my peas and pumpkin were made without butter, but with oil instead.

Had the Aveluk soup which was really nice with lavash bread which is baked in a traditional oven that you can see through the glass window. They don’t have a lot of vegan things it seems, the pumpkin sorrel in the photos from others contains honey so isn’t vegan but maybe you can ask for it without? Many other things that could be vegan say contains butter eg. Peas, veggies etc.

We had the best dip (walnutpaste) with a variety of bread, filled tomato with eggplant, summer salad and bbq potatoes (so far the best we've tried in Armenia). Everything was super delicious!
