Orders are often incorrect, with food haphazardly thrown together resulting in all the toppings being on one side. The chips are rarely warm, and sometimes have a strange hard, chewy texture that makes them inedible. Despite being the only McDonalds in a 45km radius, I have been disappointed with the food quality for years. The location is poorly placed, blocking access to the shopping centre carpark when there is a queue. However, the service is typically good.

We ordered burgers, salads, and table service, and then were given two burger boxes with Caesar salad and garden salad that looked like rabbit food. They were served in plastic bowls with no dressing in sight. After asking at the counter, they finally brought out some Caesar sauce. I have trained McDonald's staff for many years and have been a guest at hundreds of McDonald's restaurants worldwide, but this was a very poor experience. They managed to solve the problem of the missing bowls and dressing, but failed to satisfy their guests. Did they really expect us to eat the salad without dressing? If they had made a mistake, they should have at least sent a dessert with an apology. I will remember them as the ones who solved a problem, but the salad was not up to par. They need to plan their items better next time. Making mistakes is common, but they need to improve. Perhaps they should take some tips from people like Donald Trump or Scott Morrison, who excel at certain things like golf, holidays, and BBQs on hot days in Hawaii.

One of the staff sta... read more I was travelling back with my kids to Mackay yesterday from Yeppon. I wanted to get lunch for the journey. Asked about happy meal for kids. One of the staff started taking my order, when the manager came and said that we can not offer lunch during breakfast time. I explained that this was for lunch for our journey as we will not find anything on the way. She point blank refused it and asked us to wait for 45 mins if we wanted lunch. She was so inflexible and did not understand customers needs. Had crying kids walking out of the door, who do not want to go to Mcdonalds anymore.
