All the hotel staff, including those at the restaurant and bar, were incredibly attentive and took great care of us during our stay. We even received an upgraded room upon arrival since our flight landed earlier than expected. They made sure all our needs were met. The room was very clean, and the updated bathroom was spotless. The blackout curtains were a huge help, especially in the summer when the sun never sets (the midnight sun), allowing us to adjust and get some sleep. Unfortunately, wildfires were spreading nearby, and displaced residents from affected communities were temporarily housed in hotels around the city. Despite their challenging circumstances, these people were very friendly, and our hearts go out to their communities during this tragic time. It was heartwarming to see the community come together to support those in need, which is definitely a plus in my review! The staff also provided great recommendations on local attractions and wildlife trails in the tundra. Although the smoke from the fires scared off much of the wildlife, we were fortunate enough to spot some beautiful animals. The restaurant and bar staff felt like friends by the end of our stay, remembering our usual orders and making us feel incredibly welcome. We truly didn't want to leave after such a relaxing experience that perfectly met our expectations for this trip. A huge thank you to everyone for their exceptional hospitality! We will definitely be returning as soon as we can!

Not a bad option for a one-night stay. The buffet breakfast is included, which is a nice perk. However, the latte machine was out of order, in case you were hoping to enjoy one!

I'm traveling to the Arctic for 28 days, and I'm grateful that I was able to store my chest freezer, containing my food, in the hotel freezer. This has significantly alleviated my worries, as I’ll have properly stored meals that I prepared myself. I'm really thankful for this convenience. The hotel staff have truly gone above and beyond for me. The rooms here are lovely, very clean, and spacious, and the staff are exceptionally friendly.

This was my third time visiting the hotel for a business meeting, and overall, it was a positive experience. The staff were very accommodating and did their utmost to meet our needs. I used their meeting rooms for our two-day sessions; however, I did face some issues with the banquet staff. One staff member, in particular, was rather rude and tried to dictate terms, which was disappointing. Nevertheless, the overall experience was excellent. The food was delicious, and the hotel's ambiance is truly remarkable.
