The servers were welcoming and efficient but the food w... read more When we were given the list of dishes for the 9€ menú it looked good. Just a little out of the ordinary. The servers were welcoming and efficient but the food was just wrong somehow too dry, too sweet, too greasy or unappetising to look at. Afterwards I had an unpleasant taste in my mouth for hours. Most disappointing even for so little money.

We were... read more We had a delightful menu del dis mid week for €9 which was excellent value for money. Standard of food first class. Atmosphere lively and accommodating. We were so impressed that we took our daughter and son and his Spanish wife for a meal they had travelled from Sevilla to spend the weekend with us. As it was a special fiesta in Yecla the menu was priced at €18 which I personally felt was too much. When we arrived our family was delighted with the decoration and atmosphere. Again the staff up to this point were great. We were then informed of two choices one menu for €18 and one for €12. As a group of five the choices were two for the €12 and three for the €18 menu. We were then informed that this was not possible to mix the two menus. The reason being the size of the table and the problems it would create with the various dishes!!!! This to us seemed to be silly and not at all practical as an excuse. We were disappointed as we had made the journey to Yecla especially for the celebrations and to share in good quality food. Once the food arrived we were not disappointed in the standard or presentation. However the quantities were not sufficient for a group of five. So overall we were disappointed with the visit particularly as we were attempting to show the restaurant at its best to our guests from Sevilla.
