We ordered our meal, and it took half an hour to arrive. When it did, it was only warm.
Let me add my thoughts. The cook was quite rude. I ordered the lamb shank with potato and chive rösti, accompanied by asparagus and gravy for $30. My wife isn't a big eater, but the portion size of the meal was shockingly small. The rösti resembled a sad, brown mushy patty and did not look appealing at all. I simply requested some chips to accompany the nearly empty plate, but the cook insisted I pay $6 for them and argued that the 12 other customers who had ordered the meal all loved it. Frankly, I didn't buy that for a second; there’s no value at this restaurant. While other pubs can serve a meal that rates around 3 stars and charge about the same, here it's more like 4.5 stars for the price. In addition to the overpriced dish, the cook also displayed a level of arrogance. The chips ended up in the trash as my meal was overcooked by the time it finally arrived. I won’t be returning, so they won’t be getting my $140 a week. If they don't care about providing decent meals, then they can spend their money elsewhere.
The RSL represents what the true spirit of Australia is. Both historically and present, via community involvement and employment.
Still a good place as I loved it in the early 2000s been a long time out of the valley now as I'm in wa was great to come back good Tucker Arty
