We like Sunday school, but love the ice here. The owner is very friendly and the store has a great story. I hope it's another 125 years!

Instead of supporting a local business that offers delicious homemade ice cream, a small number of people seem to expect corporate-level service. Complaints about non-recyclable cups, the owner's demeanor, or the lack of nuts in the maple ice cream don’t really reflect the hard work that goes into creating this lovely place. The prices are reasonable, and while a shovel might cost $5, remember that quality takes time and effort. Let's not tarnish the reputation of a business that’s been around for 130 years over such trivial matters. Respect the craft and the tradition!
