Wagon Wheel - Yancey

I found Wagon Wheel on my way to a place about 20 minutes away. The bartender suggests the chicken fried ribeye, baked potato and salad. The salad was fresh and a good portion, not a typical bowl of iceberg. The steak was amazing, perfectly breaded with a good amount of cream gravy. The owner/cook makes his own spice mixes and rubs and uses a great mixture on the dish. It was so good I'll have to stop for breakfast. They have the common selection of beer. This is a great family owned place with live music on Saturday nights. I'll be bring friends out here during hunting
