All the courses were delicious and beaut... read more We found that Wills Domain winery restaurant certainly lived up to Rob Broadfield's rave review in the West Australian. All the courses were delicious and beautifully presented with professional service, complemented by a nice bottle of their chardonnay and views across the vineyards to the distant hills. It was a really memorable experience. Wills and Domain further distinguished itself paradoxically when a mistake was made with our sweets order. We were told the quince hazelnut cake we ordered would take 15 minutes which was no problem for us but there was a misunderstanding in the kitchen that only one rather than four had been ordered. This meant a further wait but in such a beautiful venue on holiday we were not really fussed. However the staff were so genuinely apologetic - almost mortified - and then only charged us for two of the sweets in recognition of their error. Other restaurants could take note of the aplomb with which this error was handled! That sweets deduction along with the Entertainment Book Gold Card discount made our five-star three-course lunch very reasonably priced. When we look back on our week's holiday at Yallingup, we look back on lunch at Wills Domain as one of the highlights.
