As a hungry group of four, we had an early dinner after completing the Maramoo marathon. I had booked through Dimmi, but they didn't have the booking noted. Never mind as it wasn't busy.We chose a cozy table next to the heater as it was a cool night and ordered a Lamonts Cabernet Shiraz blend which was rather nice. What is outstanding about this restaurant is they have a complete separate menu for vegans/vegetarians - something you rarely see in WA. We all enjoyed our meals which were beautifully presented and very tasty. We also ordered a number of side dishes and finished off with dessert and coffee.I can recommend this restaurant for its quality of food, service and ambience. Quite expensive though (but that is WA).

Lamont's is a fantastic place to meet up with friends for brunch. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the coffee and brunch options are delicious.

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times in the past and have always enjoyed it. However, this recent visit was very disappointing. Our server was unfriendly and the food arrived lukewarm. Our side of French fries, priced at $10, were served cold. Even dessert, specifically the bread and butter pudding, fell short of expectations. It was essentially two slices of bread with an overly sweet caramel sauce drizzled on top, not a traditional pudding. Overall, the experience was disappointing considering the price we paid. I am hesitant to return and may explore other dining options in the area instead.

My wife, a friend, and I went to this restaurant for dinner. The interior design is sleek and modern, but the lighting is a bit too dim for my taste, especially where we were seated. The wooden chairs were uncomfortable, and one of the ladies had to ask for a cushion (which the waiter provided promptly, indicating that this request is common). I ordered the roast quail with vegetables, which was delicious but came in a small portion. Both ladies chose vegetarian dishes, which they found good but not outstanding. Considering the high prices of both the food and wine, I expected better quality.

Only good thing...the King George Whiting was excellent. BAD thing: prices are way too high. Seriously Lamont's? I know the food is good but...Service - not good. Wait staff need an attitude change.
