Went in for meet up, had the posh beans on toast, yah was good, simple dish. Coffee was also good. Nice decor atmosphere.
Saturday night and the place was nearly empty, on a previous visit a few years ago it was buzzing on a Saturday night. The food was awful, two of us had the lamb kebab. There was very little lamb, on a bed of just boiled rice and onions and a piece of flatbread one of us ordered the Mousaka and that was poor and tasteless too. Luckily we ordered two portions of chips as an extra and they were okay. We had cocktails that were good, we asked for a dessert menu and was told you dont really need one as the desserts were written on a board on the wall, so we chose our desserts and waited. Nobody came back to take our order, the staff looked disinterested, probably through boredom with it being so quiet, so we decided to pay up and leave without getting dessert. Very disappointed in this place, will not be going back, thats for sure.
Visited on a Saturday lunch, it was busy but not packed. The cafe/restaurant is great, the service and food was great but be prepared for a wait, ours was 45 minutes for sandwiches
We had a wonderful get-together with friends at this restaurant. We all ordered sandwiches, which we all really enjoyed. It's a great deal since soup is also included. The staff provided excellent service. We will definitely be visiting again.
