I stumbled upon this charming tea room and struck gold. Stepping through the door felt like stepping back in time, entering a true tea room. The atmosphere was lovely, with delicate china cups and saucers, lace tablecloths, and delicious home-baked cakes, scones, and meals. Came here a few weeks ago. I'm a support worker so I support people with learning difficulties non verbal etc. Never had a problem before. My service user choose a cake. It was moldy. The staff said it's part of the icing from the cake....It was mold. She threw it in the bin and offered a different cake. No apology made or no money knocked off his bill.
