Disappointing experiences include greasy noodles and a lackluster Peking vegetable dish. On the other hand, the restaurant still has loyal customers who praise the mouth-watering dishes and friendly service. The plentiful portions and delicious taste keep customers coming back, despite occasional negative experiences. The service is fast, efficient, and the special events are worth checking out. First time purchasing food from this takeaway and honestly it is amazing ! Keep it that way and we will come back soon and plenty ! I understand sometimes things might not go perfect when cooking but if there's more good then bad , I'm cool with that : Really recommend ! View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Ruby:
Good food small portions . Guy on counter slurping noodles is not nice to hear and see. Needs to get a card pay machine though. We are all cutting down on plastic use so why are food presented in it not foil. Bring back the round foil dishes. Better amount of food and less plastic waste . View all feedback.
What has happened? Used to use Rubys all the time, but the last few times the food is disgusting! Save your money and go elsewhere.
Asked for Special Curry with fried rice and basically got a larger portion of chicken curry. Other takeaways offer special curries which consist of mixed meat and mushrooms but Ruby is 90% chicken, loads of onion and a few mushroom, very lucky to get pork, beef or duck in the special.
I had a delicious dish of beef and pineapple with rice at this restaurant. The food was well-cooked and the price was reasonable. The service was friendly. I enjoyed it so much that I returned the next night for their sweet and sour dish, which was also delightful.
Made an order for £100 for a birthday gathering so had lots of different dishes and every one of them were lovely!!! First time ordering from here and will 100% be back Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
