Having moved away in 2020 it had always been an ambition to visit again when we were back in the area, last night was that night. Booked in at 6.30pm, restaurant was busy and the takeaway phone never stopped, which tells its own story. Staff were very rude! Wasn’t happy when we asked to take the service charge off. Be mindful of this everyone! They automatically add a service charge onto your bill so don’t be afraid to ask them to take it off. We definitely asked them to take it off after our experience View all feedback.
This restaurant is terrible. The prices are high in comparison to other Chinese restaurants, and they automatically add a service charge to the bill without asking. The staff is rude and added items to our bill that we did not order. When we asked for them to be removed, they were very disrespectful and insisted that we had ordered them. To top it off, we all got sick with food poisoning the next morning. Overall, it was a dreadful experience.
We were at this restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food was delicious, but we felt like we were being rushed. The waiters were clearing plates before everyone had finished their meals and there was someone constantly hovering over our table, making us feel very uncomfortable. We were hoping for a nice, relaxing evening but it turned out to be anything but that.
Have you ever eaten onions in a curry that tasted like guitar picks? The curry sauce was thin and sloppy, the chow mein had very little meat, and the chips were tasteless. The price of £4.50 was not worth it. Although the place was nice, I would not recommend it.

Visited with friends recently and we were disappointed with the food which was not as good as last times we have been to this restaurant. We arrived at 8.30 pm, and were rushed by hostile staff to order, eat and finish. Not a relaxing experience, until we asked for another round of drinks at 10.00pm and were flatly refused and were told that two drinks each was enough for anyone!! Bill brought to us without our asking. We were out of restaurant less than two hours after arriving. We were last to leave at 10.15 on a Saturday night. Will not return.
