They have a great selection of soup and they let you even sample some before you buy it. I've tried sandwiches twice and they were very good. I also like the organic drinks. I got the last seat in there today if I would have had more than one person with me I wouldn't have had a seat. It was lunchtime, but they almost need more seating. The service was fast and friendly. However, when I arrived, there was a sign on the window stating that they close at 5 PM, which seems to be their regular hours. Unfortunately, I was still charged for my order. Maclove should not list dine-in as an option if they only provide delivery. I wasted 10 minutes driving around trying to locate the restaurant. It would be helpful if their menu clearly indicated the available service options.
The website showed that the restaurant was open until 8 PM, so I placed an online order. However, when I got there, a sign on the window said they actually close at 5 PM, which appears to be their usual hours. Unfortunately, I was still charged for my order. I’m quite disappointed as I had been excited to try this place, especially since I live an hour away.
The dishes had a stylish presentation. The Cobb salad was okay, but the Mediterranean bowl fell short—the garbanzo beans were hard and bland, making the dish feel incomplete. The broccoli and cheddar soup was awful; it tasted burnt and I couldn't finish it, easily the worst I’ve ever had. Overall, the prices felt too high for mostly average food. The service, however, was decent.
