Service was a bit slow but we were there when they opened the door so staff was still getting things started up. I had the breakfast special with three eggs, three kinds of meat, hash browns and toast for less than $12. The only downside of the restaurant was a piece of equipment making a loud noise kind of like a large dog moaning. Parking: We parked right in front of the door. View all feedback.
What Mann doesn't like about Homestead Restaurant:
Twice, I got undercooked raw chicken breast for my burger order. First time I thought, mistakes happens. Second time, big NO. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. I would rather starve than to eat there going forward. Plus who puts white onion and only one olive in greek salad View all feedback.

We tried the Greek platter for two. There was more than enough for two hungry people to share. We were disappointed that the 4 skewers, 2 chicken and 2 pork, were very dry and tough. We didn't eat more than one each. Sadly, the Greek salad did not have any red onion or olives. Nice Greek dressing on the lettuce, cucumber and tomato salad and topped with fresh lemon and two slabs of feta cheese, one each. Served with two small containers of tzaziki, one for each person. Three deep fried shrimp each (with one dipping sauce to share) and lots of fries. We also had 3 ribs each, which were tasty but also quite overdone and very dry. After bringing the food they don't usually come back to the table to ask if everything is ok. (We've eaten here many times) A few other times the chicken in my chicken alfredo was also very tough meat. It would be my favorite place to eat chicken alfredo because of the yummy, creamy sauce if they would cook the chicken so it's tender, not tough. *Make sure you request the meat not to be cooked til it's dry.

I don't have any pictures, but their food was absolutely delicious for a small restaurant hidden in a small town. You would miss this place if you stuck to the highway, but take some time to go find Homestead. Food is amazing, the price is very reasonable and you could get full really quickly. Definitely worth the drive from Saskatoon
