We have relatives that live a stone throw away from this restaurant. We had dinner there and it was excellent. Tasty food, reasonable prices and very friendly and attentive wait staff. It was so good we came back the next day. This time it was later in the evening and it turned out they had run out of gyros. First we thought it was a joke that a Greek place could run out of gyros but they had. They told us to substitute any meat for it which worked fine since I liked their lamb chops the first time and took it again. They also ran out of Hovel beer again it seemed like a joke that a restaurant in Dortmund could run out Dortmund beer but it was true. But these were small issues, and we were compensated with another round of Ouzo for everybody. Overall, this was the best food we had in a week in Dortmund. And to boot, it was reasonably priced. A clear winner!

The staff is really great, we come many years, but this time it was probably the last time, it is probably a new cook there and that was noticed that my eating was cold the meat had no taste and the teller was full with soaking so that all the stuff is used to get the sose separated and they pour it themselves where they want it we were totally disappointed.
