The staff are cheerful and friendly, the chips are always fresh, and I really appreciate how they serve square fillets of fish, which makes them thicker. This place is a definite favorite for us. I ended up throwing it in the bin. Even the dog turned his nose up at a chip.

The... read more This is undoubtedly the best fish and chips in the area, and I say that as someone from Grimsby who grew up on the freshest, highest-quality fish available! The staff are fantastic, the food is served hot and freshly cooked, and there’s plenty of it. It's truly great value for money. We make it a point to go at least once a week, making the journey from Llangollen to Johnstown because there's simply nowhere closer that's better. We're totally "hooked" (pardon the pun) and will be there tonight for dinner! Love you all! xxx

Many people don’t know this but fish and chips is actually one of the healthiest takeaways, so I thought I’d treat us. What an amazing little fish and chip shop this is, the queue was out the door with regulars and the staff were amazing. Now the real question was it good food? Wow. It was unbelievable, huge portions and unbelievably priced. Couldn’t not leave a review for this place. We absolutely loved it 10/10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
