The food at this restaurant is outstanding, and the staff is amazing. The setting is beautiful, with views of the Golf Course.
The Sunday lunch at The Moss in Wrexham offers excellent value with large portions of high-quality food. The staff are friendly and helpful, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Despite being a golf club, the golfers are respectful and welcoming to customers. I highly recommend The Moss for its great value and quality, and I will definitely be visiting again.
Great little restaurant by the port with reasonable prices - 18.90 euros for a buffet of starters with plenty of choices, a main dish (we had grilled cuttlefish with crunchy vegetables), and a dessert buffet with chocolate cake and fresh fruit. The staff was friendly and served us quickly despite the crowd. The sangria was very good. Unfortunately, the terrace and garden were full so we had to eat inside, which was a bit dark. On the way out, we were able to take a picture with a beautiful parrot. They also offer a 16.90 euro set menu with a starter and dessert buffet, or you can order à la carte.
It was a delightful and challenging course, particularly since I hadn't played there in about 15 years. I managed to complete 9 holes before heading to the clubhouse for a few pints, where I was served by a very charming lady.
I recently played a test round of golf on a well-maintained 9-hole course that features some challenging holes and steep hills (buggy rentals are available). The clubhouse has a bar with very reasonable drink prices, and they offer snacks and hot beverages as well. I would definitely recommend this friendly course to anyone in the Wrexham area. For those playing 18 holes, the fee is £10 for seniors, but they can only play 9 holes. There are two sets of tees available for both the front and back nine.
