Was Mark Tigges at Tava a mag?
Honestly the best biriyani I've ever had plus the curry sauces were amazing. Even smaller things such as the condiments for the poppadoms were far better than anything I've had before. Highly recommend Tava and will definitely be returning! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What Alison S dislikes about Tava:
An extensive food menu, but no low/no alcohol beer or lager on the drinks menu. The dishes we chose were tasty, but served like warm. Our naan and others we saw had a pool of ghee on top of them. My husband would not try ours: I just ate the fluffy bits around the edge. There was atmosphere in the restaurant and the service was fine; but there was nothing special to make us want to return. As always, the service was excellent. We didn't have any children with us this time, but it wouldn't have been an issue if we did, as the staff is always accommodating. The food was fantastic, just like before. Even though it was busy, the service remained top-notch. We visited on a Wednesday to enjoy their 3-course meal for £10.95, and the mixed starter was amazing while the main course was delicious. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
They consistently offer a delicious meal served in a tava. The staff is also fantastic. We highly recommend it!
The customer service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the drinks menu was impressive. My family and I really enjoyed our experience and will definitely return!
Takeaway service great.Always on time and the staff are friendly and polite.Food is top rate and always plenty on.Lasts us for a second reheat meal the next day.
I have been and enjoy a lot of the food made at Tava I would recommend to all my friends and family. The service from all the staff was excellent and food brought to the table on time, it has a good atmosphere and the food tasted great. I will be going back very soon :
Tava offers an extensive Indian menu that captivates with its variety. While the restaurant’s ambiance and friendly service add to the experience, food quality remains inconsistent. Some patrons praised dishes like onion bhajis and lamb balti for their authentic flavors, while others reported cold meals, overly salty dishes, and poorly prepared naan. Takeaway experiences varied widely, with issues ranging from incorrect orders to inedible items. Despite these challenges, many guests appreciate the large portions and reasonable prices. For those lucky enough to find a consistent experience, Tava remains a valued discovery amidst mixed reviews.

We are on holiday in Holt. We eat Indian meals at home regularly. This restaurant was one of the best. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is beautifully cooked. Especial favourite were the onion bhajis.
A really outstanding meal. We had the dansaac and the Welsh lamb balti. Highly recommended for those who love genuine Indian food accompanied with superb hospitality-10/10.

I vomited immediately after eating at this restaurant. The food had a strange smell and tasted odd, but I assumed it was supposed to be that way because it was sour. I was wrong. I spent the entire evening throwing up. The Pashwari naan was burnt but tasty. The other four dishes we ordered were decent. One dish was basically plain yogurt with melted peanut butter and chicken mixed in. Another dish was labeled as not spicy, but turned out to be extremely spicy. The lemon rice was enjoyable.
We are pleased with our experience! The food was delicious, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was serene and pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Food was cold when it arrived.... again. Items missing from the order... again! We have so many issues with Tava we are just going to give up in future. We spend £50 a time and it's just not worth it. The food isn't even great when it arrives. A watery Jalfrezi and a Chicken Tikka Korma that was just plain chicken breast and tasteless. Wish we could get a decent Indian in the village.... but after 4 years, we just give up now. What a shame!

I visit this restaurant every weekend and consistently enjoy the great food and welcoming atmosphere. The staff members—Danny, Farhan, Mez, and the rest—are always friendly and attentive to the customers' needs. For dinner, I usually spend around £20-30 per person. I’d rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5 as well, and the atmosphere a solid 4. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Dish, Soft Lamb Achari, and Chicken Pakora!
