Just a heads up to anyone never apply to work here. They told myself and another young girl we had the job then they asked us to do a "trial shift. ' It was a busy Saturday night they had a 60th birthday party on and a Robbie Williams tribute act on, place was packed they obviously wanted some free help. They had me start at 6pm until gone 2am and then said actually that was a trial shift and never contacted me to pay me for those hours. I also have over ten years of experience on the bar, I certainly didn 't need an 8 hour trial shift.
Visited today for an Afternoon tea. Was amazing, Everything freshly prepared. Dog friendly too, which was a bonus. All the staff, genuinely friendly and helpful. All credit to the little Boy waiter, From previous visits, the food menu is well recommended also. Soul and Rock tunes while you eat, so Happy me. Thank you all.
We had a pleasant lunch at this restaurant today. Both of us ordered the hot beef bap with homemade chips and a jug of gravy. The total cost for two pints of San Miguel was about £20.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant on July 3rd. The waitress with blue hair seated us and took our order. I asked for French toast with bacon, maple syrup, and a toastie, along with two coffees. After a 15-minute wait, she returned and asked if we had been served yet. I said yes, so she left again. When she came back, she asked for our order again and seemed confused about what French toast was. Another 15 minutes passed before she brought our food out on a small plate, serving us two halves of fried bread instead of French toast. When I asked about the bacon, she gave me a dirty look and took the food back. Eventually, she returned with two pieces of fried bread and some bacon sloppily thrown on the plate. The customer service was shocking, and I will not be returning to this restaurant.
