During my visit with my mother, we were immediately recognized by the staff and shown to our table. We ordered two decaf teas, which were served in lovely glasses along with a small creamer on the side. I had a gluten-free ham and cheese toastie, while my mother opted for a bacon butty. Found this cafe/bistro just by chance. And what a lovely place. Excellent food, with a different selection from the usual. Polite staff, clean, designed nice and at very reasonable prices. Well done

The coffee here is fantastic, and the prices are great. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We tried a roasted mushroom sandwich and a sausage sandwich, and both were generous portions and very flavorful. I definitely recommend this place!
The restaurant offers gluten-free cakes, but they are stored in the same display cabinet as cakes that contain gluten. It seems that there are separate utensils for each type of cake.
