We got two pieces of fish 1 grilled one battered minimum chips, scallops and calamari The chips were beautiful but not happy with the amount of chips for $6.50 the scallops were really good it would be nice if places sold scallops with the roe on. Also annoyed that our fish was hoki which is cheap fish View all feedback.
First time going to Cooee Bay Takeaway, and I was not disappointed. The red emperor and calamari were cooked perfectly, and the two guys there were super friendly. A great old school fish and chip shop! Five stars!
Good range of standard fish, chips and burgers, plus some asian and also a raft of combo deals. Pleasant, timely service, but although the chunky chips looked good it seemed as though they were twice cooked. Very tasty crumbed scallops though. Great location opposite a small local park and close to Cooee Bay beach.
Nice staff but fish from frozen, a bit tasteless. You will not be poisoned, but ... I would advice to avoid the place.
We absolutely adore the fish, chips, and burgers at this restaurant! The food is always fresh, crispy, and comes with a friendly smile. Situated on the serene and picturesque Cooee Bay beach, what more could you ask for?
Typical takeaway with f c, burgers, and the like, with self choice cold drinks available. The Red Emperor we purchased was perfectly cooked, and obviously fresh. The chips were above average, nice and crisp.
