We were in a quiet part of the restaurant on the mezzanine floor with the only downsides... read more Valentine's set dinner menu was excellent with good choice of courses. We were in a quiet part of the restaurant on the mezzanine floor with the only downsides being quite chilly as it was feeling the benefit of the cold air from the front door and it could have had more lighting as some tables were in the dark. The staff were excellent and very attentive so that added to the meals being served promptly made the evening a good choice. We have been to The Swallows Return on a number of occasions so this visit was a success. In the past we have found service to be slow maybe because of choosing from the a la carte menu vs the set menu choices.
