Still chuckling abo... read more Loved my stay here at the Highdown. The tea rooms were pleasant, the gardens were beautiful and the hotel room and breakfast were wonderful. Still chuckling about a picture hanging upside down in the bar! I'll definitely pay a return visit in the future.

Another dog friendly place, nice staff, very friendly, great menu, a lovely roaring fire for the colder days, good selection of drinks. I recommend this place.. And next door part of the pub/Hotel, there is a cafe..haven't tried it yet. It all looks very nice. Give it a go.
