Jafran - Worthing
Jafran
Description
At Jafran, diners encounter a mixed experience that leaves room for improvement. While some relish the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, others find the food lackluster and poorly presented, with reports of bland curries and disappointing portions. The restaurant's advertised deals can be misleading, leading to confusion about menu options. Though certain dishes spark joy, like the flavorful Chicken Tikka Dhansak, inconsistency in quality potentially hinders repeat visits. With a family-run charm and reasonable prices, Jafran strikes a chord with some patrons, but its future may hinge on addressing recurring concerns to maintain its reputation in the competitive dining landscape.

The takeaway from this restaurant was very good. The service was also very nice. The starters and sides were delicious. My husband enjoyed his curry (dansak) a lot, but we both felt that my bhuna was lacking in flavor. We will definitely try something different next time.
We eat here on a regular basis as the food is so delicious and flavoursome. The staff are very attentive and helpful. Always a good meal.
Quiet night with attentive service. Food was lovely, chicken v tender in the dansak. Tasty starters. Will be back.
We recently switched to Jafran from another local curry restaurant because we'd become unhappy. We're so glad we switched the food at Jafran is consistently delicious, the service is friendly and helpful and deliveries are always fast. We've tried most of the Worthing curry restaurants and can happily say Jafran are now our first choice every time!
