Kai gave us a very warm welcome and showed us to a table. We had made a reservation. The food and drinks were served quickly. Unfortunately, my schnitzel was very greasy. I found the restaurant a bit too dark and therefore not very inviting. The location is beautiful, right on the Rhine. Free parking is available.

The half chicken cost €17, and the fries were too salty. Ketchup was only added upon request, and it cost an additional 50 cents. You have to get your own drinks and pay €5 for a Coke from the plastic bottle in the fridge.

August 17, 2025 A very nice beer garden, packed to the last seat in the good weather. We were still lucky to get one of the remaining seats at an already occupied table. The food arrived quickly, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, my half chicken was very dry, and the thin fries were much too hard. The breaded schnitzel tasted good, as did the carrot and coleslaw, but the green salad had too much white dressing (made in house? . The waiter responded superbly to my verdict: He immediately offered me a drink (schnapps, espresso, or something similar on the house as compensation. That 's an extremely rare experience hats off! The knives were blunt, and it was difficult to cut the meat. The view of the Rhine, however, made up for everything. We 'll definitely be back and know what not to order

Food delicious, service abysmal, somewhat overwhelmed by the staff

No. We wanted to try there again, as we were very disappointed a year ago. The prices are now very high. The service was disastrous. We had half a chicken with bread from the day before, which was almost inedible. My husband had overcooked spare ribs with fries, some of which were so hard you had to fear for your crowns. Since these dishes come with bones, there was no plate for them, so what to do? Throw them on the floor like in the Middle Ages. Since a server rarely came by, we used the ashtray, which didn't go down so well when clearing up. All in all, the old Worms local haunt was once worth a visit, a long time ago, but now they can no longer recommend it. The many positive reviews have made me think a little, so it could be that's where my rating comes from. I cook fresh food every day and dare I say that I cook better than I did there.
