Vannini does indeed have very good ice cream. I really liked banana! It's also rather affordable with currently € 1.20 per scoop (May 2022). And the cones are vegan. I just find it a bit sad that only fruit flavours are vegan and not even all of them. They label the vegan options on their website, and e.g. mango is not vegan.They also don't have dark chocolate sorbet like some other ice cream parlours do.
Great ice cream, many vegan Option. It is always spotless and the service is friendly.
This is by far the most famous ice cream shop in all of Worms and it is very popular in summer, prepare to wait in queue for quite a long time. I tried their ice cream several times, but honestly, I think it is overrated. Their selection of ice cream flavors is SO large that it takes a lot of time to ask which of them are vegan they are not labeled as such. Sadly, only the fruit sorbets are vegan and not even all of them. I think it needs improvement and if they already offer so many flavors, they could make an effort to make at least a few of them vegan, at least I wish.
I went here because this ice creamery was listed on happycow but was a bit disappointed to hear that only their fruit ice cream (sorbets) are vegan, and not even all of them. This is about the same as any other italian ice cream vendor in Germany. They have the word vegan written on their webpage, but nothing more to accomodate vegans. All in all, I was a bit disappointed; the sorbets I had were quite good though...

The Vanini ice cream café is located in the centre of Worms very centrally on the market square. With large parasols and good ice quality, it offers some Italian flair in Worms. In addition to the well-known ice specialities, there are also vegan and lactose-free variants as well as seasonal specialities, e.g. the Dornfelder Weineis, in autumn Zwetschgeneis... or trendy ice creams, e.g. Mon Cheri= Shrimp with cherries, apple... . As a special feature, the Vanini in Worms offers the annual Nibelungen Festival the Nibelungen ice cream, consisting of champagne ice cream with strawberries. Not so well solved is the system that you have to place yourself with those who only want to order a mess in the snake and that can take time. Everything is quite cheap and therefore a good value for money. We have eaten or drank : ice cream coffee good strong coffee Raffaelobecher would have been more Raffaellos otherwise O. K. summer cup fresh summer fruit kiwi, strawberry, bananas good milkshake with 2 selected ice creams in our case Mango/ Raffaello very good. For the next year a new building of the Vanini is planned in a central location, hopefully the unfavourable self-service principle would be significantly improved by the Vanini in Worms.

Nice place to get good ice cream

They also don't have a dark chocolate sorbet like other ice salons.
