Since it was a beautiful d... read more This is a lovely café with friendly staff and an impressive selection of drinks and cakes. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was a beautiful day, we opted for the outdoor area to enjoy watching the people walking by along the canal and towpath. While the museum itself is definitely worth a visit, the café has its own separate entrance.

My... read more After visiting the nearby museum with the same name, we were quite hungry. So we ordered two pastrami toasties along with a decaf tea and decaf coffee. Wow! My partner, who lived in New York for a few years, declared this the best pastrami sandwich ever. It was loaded with mustard and pastrami—absolutely delicious! We were so full that we regrettably couldn't try the enticing cakes. Sitting in the spring sunshine by the canal, watching the mallard ducklings and a swan family with their four cygnets, made for a perfect afternoon. The staff were just as wonderful as the food.
