Eating here is amazing. Flavours I have never experienced. Presentation is amazing. The staff is friendly. You need to make reservations even though they are usually full. They're BYOB. They were friendly and brought us a wine opener and a few wine glasses for the bottle we brought in. I want to come back to try more of their dishes. View all feedback.

Wow! What great food. Very well seasoned and spiced food. Not spicy, but very well cook. It feels like you’re eating from home. The owner and his wife runs the place and that take good care of you when you go there to eat. Will definitely go back! My 1.5 LO loved the food too! I definitely recommend the lamb with rice and almond cake.
This restaurant deserves a 5-star rating. The first star is for the beautifully decorated interior. The second star is for the friendly employees. The third and fourth stars are for the delicious taste of the food and its presentation. I would take away one star because it takes a long time for the food to be prepared. However, they ensure that it is top quality. The bathrooms may not be the best, but that is offset by the amazing food.
Pomir Grill offers authentic Afghan cuisine, a rare find especially in the suburbs. They pride themselves on using recipes passed down through generations and techniques that have been used for thousands of years. The restaurant has a cozy yet spacious interior with tables spread apart for privacy. The ambiance is sophisticated with clean white tablecloths and a bright red flower on each table. We started with the complimentary Naan, which was served with three delicious sauces. The Naan was fresh and disappeared quickly. Our main dishes, including Lamb Kabob and Beef Sampler, were generous in portion and packed with flavor. The meat was juicy and tender, and the rice complemented the dishes perfectly. For dessert, we enjoyed Afghan style Baklava and Pista Sheer Yaakh (Pistachio Ice Cream). The Baklava was amazing and the ice cream was rich and creamy with a hint of condensed milk. Despite feeling full, the fresh ingredients made us feel light. The service was a bit slow due to limited staff, but the quality of the food made up for it. Overall, we had a great dining experience at Pomir Grill and would definitely return for more delicious dishes. Check out my full review on my food blog, foodlovergirl.
