On the downside, the restaurant could use a bit of cleanliness and an update, especially since they've been around for many years. During my last visit, I could hear some noises coming from above—perhaps a raccoon or something. It was a bit cramped and distracting, but I still enjoyed the food. Overall, it's a wonderful spot that I would recommend! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hacienda Don Juan:
Absolutely the slowest place I’ve ever eaten at and picked up deliveries for. I drive for Grubhub on the side, and the amount of drivers that leave this restaurant is incredible. They constantly lie about the time food will take and will make the drivers wait over 40 minutes after stating it’ll take ten. They do this with the costumers who enter as well. Please be honest about your duration so we can go about our day... View all feedback.
Delicious! The food is fantastic and the prices are reasonable. I particularly enjoy the trio option, which includes shrimp, chicken, and steak. It's a small, family-run local business that offers authentic flavors. Everything on the menu is great—there's no such thing as a bad meal here. Most dishes are made from scratch, so if you're in a hurry, you might want to consider going to McDonald's or somewhere else. It does take a bit longer to receive your food, but keep in mind that you're getting freshly prepared meals. Unfortunately, the cleanliness leaves something to be desired; perhaps the restaurant would benefit from an update, as they've been in business for many years. During my last visit, I could hear some sort of animal scurrying around in the ceiling above me, which really grossed me out, and I haven't returned since.
The best Mexican and Salvadorian food we've discovered in Worcester! I always try Al Pastor tacos wherever I go, and these were among my favorites. Everything was delicious, and we will definitely be coming back. I ordered and paid online, but I noticed signs in the restaurant indicating cash only (I never carry cash, so I'm really glad they offer the online payment option).
I can't emphasize enough how amazing the pupusas from Hacienda are. Whenever they're served at a Clark event, they're devoured in minutes. I highly recommend ordering them to-go and enjoying them outdoors. The pupusas come with cabbage and hot sauce, but adding an order of guacamole and chips is definitely worth it. If you're in the mood for something different, the vegetarian burrito is fantastic and it's so huge that it could easily be dinner for two nights! While the wait times can be a bit lengthy, the prices are very reasonable, so please support this local business!

This is by far the best Mexican/Salvadorian cuisine we've discovered in Worcester! I always try the Al Pastor Tacos wherever I go, and these were my favorites. Fortunately, I rarely carry cash, so I was really glad they offered the online payment option.
