What Patricia Michel doesn't like about Dalat Restaurant:
The pho was on the sweeter side. The pho has thicker noodle than other places I've been too. The Hoisin sauce was very watery and a lighter shade of brown. Completely different from other places. The catfish clay pot was also sweet. I was expecting it to be a little salty. View all feedback.
Good food, unfortunately the Bun Bo Hue isn't as spicy as it used to be. Now i understand this is my own subjective preference so i won't knock them for the change and they have a lot of other things i enjoy such as the variety of delicious smoothies
Pho is really good, but pho bo hue is not so much. Dated restaurant, good price and good taste.
We have been fans of this restaurant since college 20 years ago and come back sooo regularly even though we live 5 towns away. The staff are always kind and courteous, the food always fresh and delicious, and the iced coffee is my favorite drink of all time. Happy to be a regular! (Pictured #62)
Dalat is my go-to restaurant for Vietnamese food. I always get the special on the menu C1. I think it's called bun rieu. The fresh spring rolls are flavorful and come with a nice peanut dipping sauce. I haven't tried much else but my son has and he enjoys everything. It's a little hole in the wall. There's always other customers in there. The staff are super friendly.
