Deckhouse Woolwich - WOOLWICH
Deckhouse Woolwich
Description
Nestled in a prime location with breathtaking views, this restaurant promises an unforgettable dining experience, yet leaves many patrons underwhelmed. While the outdoor atmosphere shines, inside, the decor fails to impress, resembling a retirement home more than a trendy eatery. Diners frequently report lacking service, noting slow wait times, disorganized staff, and a frustratingly high noise level. Although breakfast offers an appealing price, the overall quality of food and service falls short of expectations. Despite occasional glimpses of potential—like promising appetizers—guests often leave longing for a more memorable meal elsewhere. Ultimately, it appears this restaurant is stuck in mediocrity.

So my 3/5 is more for the view and atmosphere of the place rather than the menu.
We were celebrated our daughters birthday with a Sunday lunchThe location is excellent with great views.
Corn cobbs were fridge cold and the pasta was searing hot and burnt my tongue The cheese sauce was split and the scampi was overcooked on the pappardelle.
My first experience at this restaurant was incredibly important to me, and it turned out to be warm and welcoming. I started with the pork belly for my appetizer, and it was delicious. I'm now looking forward to my main course and dessert, and I believe it will only get better from here.
I visited this restaurant for a Sunday lunch with an overseas guest based on a recommendation, without checking the Yelp reviews first. Unfortunately, I wish I had. Other reviewers have already highlighted the key issues. The food was mediocre and quite overpriced, the service was extremely slow, and it was difficult to get anyone's attention. Additionally, the noise level was surprisingly high for such a large establishment.
