Riley St Garage offers a unique dining experience in a former garage turned bar and restaurant. While the food receives mixed reviews, with some dishes being outstanding and others falling short of expectations, the overall ambiance and service were highly praised. The restaurant is known for its creative cocktails, with the Toffee Apple Cobbler Cocktail standing out as a must-try. Prices were considered on the higher side, but for those looking for a unique dining experience in a trendy setting, Riley St Garage comes highly recommended.

Was CasandraTP at Busby a mag?
We came for a romantic dinner and from the minute we got there the staff made us feel welcomed. Started off with oysters, chicken karaage with a honey mustard mayo which was yummy and grilled pork belly skewers which were disappointing, slightly overcooked and tiny. For main we shared the slow cooked lamb shoulder which was the perfect size and truffled mash which I highly recommend. Dessert was deconstructed cheese... View all feedback.

What Sally M dislikes about Busby:
While the food was tasty it was exceptionally expensive for what was provided. A meal for 6 was close to $600 and the servings were so small that even if we had purchased twice as much we still would have been hungry. Would only recommend going there for pre dinner drinks and eats unless you have big pockets and small appetites. View all feedback.

There are a variety of mixed opinions on this salon; I shall start by giving you mine but not skimping out on what I've heard on the street. Before my

We went for a special occasion n with the reviews I was very excited but left disappointed. Went a few weeks ago n yes the weather was cold but being seated at the back of the restaurant n with the cold air con I was left freezing. Food was ok needed more taste but what's with a sharing plate of lamb n u get 3 lamb cutlets when there is 4 people. Also what is a real old fashion garage that does not serve coca cola from an old fashion bottle not just from a the bar gun. Nicely decorated overall n neat bathroom theme but will not be back again. Not cheap.

There were four of us for dinner at the Riley St Garage. The building is an art deco mini masterpiece and the the interior is as interesting as the outside. We started with fabulous Sydney rock oysters - I was extolling the delights of Wellfleets from MA and had forgotten how good Sydney oysters are with a little more meaty consistency and less briny. The remainder of the meal was excellent and finished off with a wonderful deconstructed cheese cake. Service, ambience and food all fantastic together with good friends.

Went here with a group of friends if you like seafood it’s perfect for you. Unfortunately barely any veg options. Wouldn’t accommodate a vegetarian in the banquet very disappointing.

What place gives a price and then informs you there 's a 10% mandatory gratuity ? I 've been to America several times and accept that gratuity is part of the deal since their wait staff and bar staff are paid so little. It 's not something we do in Australia, especially not mandatory. More than happy to leave a decent tip in the tip jar if the service is great but expecting to just add it on top in this country is just rude. If you want the extra money then quote a price with the extra included. Don 't try to hide it behind words like gratuity .
