Situated on Cowper Wharf, Aki's is not your typical Indian restaurant. It shouldn't be limited to just special occasions either. Featuring beautiful...

I really enjoyed this restaurant. I liked everything I tried and the wafer-thin papadums were especially delicious. Overall, a very good experience.

Located on the waterfront in Woolloomooloo, this restaurant offers a more private dining experience compared to others in the area. The staff were polite and helpful, providing attentive service throughout our meal.

I went there for my birthday dinner as the place had vegetarian options for my mom. I love how the chef has played with traditional combinations rather than flavours thus keeping the authenticity. E.g. appam which is usually served with stew was served with a kannada style chicken curry which is usually served with a crispy thing together called the “Kiriti roti”. I also loved the palak paneer from the north and was the best I have had till date in Sydney. We also tried a chat which was experimentally very good different . I enjoyed every bit of the food. The staff served some palate refreshment shots which was made out of mint, ginger and some juice which did its job before we could fill our tastebuds with the mains . Also if you are looking for bowl size appams to pour some fish curry and dig into it, this is the place to be!

Had dinner there last Saturday night and we absolutely loved the food, best Indian food in Sydney. We had the banquet and were super full by the end of the night. Service was great too, loved the lychee drink
