What MJ K doesn't like about Woody Creek Tavern:
This historic restaurant/tavern spot was recommended to us on a visit to Aspen. The drive to the location was pretty. The exterior funky. We needed reservations despite the place being barely full. The tavern is a wonderfully warm and inviting spot to gather with friends for drinks, lunch, or dinner. The staff are all friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious.
I once had an awkward experience there when someone slapped me. The entire bar fell silent until she joked, "It's alright, he enjoys pain." True story.
Food is awesome. Ambiance is weird... my kinda place.

I want to tell people that if they haven't already been there, they need to go. We loved it there! Excellent food, service, and the atmosphere like none other. Can't wait to go back!! Beautiful country too.
